Salama
La Villa Romana becomes the restaurant Salama
Just a few steps from the famous Place des Lices in Saint-Tropez
It was back in 1999 that Frédérique and Fabrice opened their restaurant Salama. The combination of traditional
Moroccan cuisine based on simple and convivial dishes, served in an intimate atmosphere nestled
in heart of St Tropez village, brought immediate success.
In 2003, Frédérique and Fabrice had the opportunity to acquire new premises in Rue des Tisserands,
not just more spacious, but a unique and magical place. Far from the crowds and noise,
and yet so close to the Port of St Tropez, customers meander up a short side street, reminiscent
of the alleyways of the medinas of the Maghreb.
In 2016, Frédérique and Fabrice took a break when they sold the Salama restaurant, rue des Tisserands.
They are back after a two year break and want to continue the Salama adventure in a magical location….
This dream is coming true and settling in the heart of the famous Villa Romana, a mythical place
where Jean Luc Fournier, master of Tropezien nights, resides.
The garden, the setting and the history of this exceptional site have inspired Frédérique and Fabrice
who’ve seized the opportunity to create an exceptional place where energies unite and pleasures converge.
